Material: ASTM A106
Threads: ASME B1.20.1, ISO 7/1
A threadolet is used for low-pressure 90-degree pipe branches. It features a female threaded connection where the branched pipe is screwed onto the fitting. This creates a 90-degree branch as a full-size or reduced straight pipe. A full-size threadolet offers the same diameter branch as the run pipe.
Weldolets are the most popular type of branch fittings, belonging to the buttweld fittings family. They feature beveled ends and are welded onto the run pipe on one side and the branch pipe on the other. Their unique shape ensures minimal stress concentration, providing integral reinforcement for 90-degree pipe branches.
