Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a unique polymer produced by the chlorination of polyvinyl chloride. While ordinary PVC has a chlorine content of 45%, CPVC molecules contain approximately 64% to 68%, and can reach over 70%.

CPVC offers higher tensile capacity than UPVC, PPR, PP-B, PB, and HDPE. It features a lower thermal expansion coefficient than PP, PE, and PB. Its resistance to temperature and deformation outperforms PP, UPVC, ABS, and HDPE.
