The features and advantages of this air vent valve
- Small size, simple structure and reliable performance.
- The valve body adopts the direct passage design, the inlet and outlet are large in size and large in flow.
- Sealed float moves long length, Prevents floating balls from blowing high velocity air, resulting in premature exhaust closure, and does not affect air inhalation or removal.
- Dynamic low pressure seal. It can maintain good tightness at low pressure (0.3bar) and avoid leakage.
- All components have advantages of corrosion resistance, low maintenance frequency and long service life.
How the valves work?
In the process of water injection, a large amount of air is rapidly discharged from the intake and exhaust ports. Then after the water enters the air valve chamber, the float rises with the liquid level and will close the quick intake and exhaust port. The valve was designed according to gas dynamics and anti blow design of floating ball. So before the water enters the air valve, the float will be prevented from blowing by the high velocity air stream and closing the exhaust port prematurely.
When the system is evacuated, there is negative pressure difference, and the air will push the ball downward. The power type quick intake and exhaust vents are opened, and air enters the air valve to avoid negative pressure in the system. When the system is under pressure, the intake and exhaust valves remain closed.
